If you are like many boaters you've seen shore power cords which have shorted out or which have burnt spots on the twist lock connecters.  SmartPlug is a better, safer way to plug into shore.

 

A few features are overheat protection, multi-point locking system and a "push straight in" sleeved design.  It's also easier to use than traditional twist locks.  Just push SmartPlug straight in and the side levers lock in place then snap the cover down for your second lock and you're ready to go.  No more twisting and no more hanging upside down to figure out which way it goes.
